The Kallivar Plains lie south of the mountains. Although warmer than the rest of the Northern Territories, it is still quite chilly in the winter- cold snow lies over the ground, freezing prey and small animals in the snowy depths. In the summer, however, golden grass grows abundantly in the lush fields.
